Celcom Home Hop Away package

Celcom is introducing mobile and fixline broadband package. The mobile broadband will be using Celcom 3G network with speed up to 384Kbps. The fixline broadband will be using Streamyx from TM.net with speed up to 1Mbps. The total package is RM108 with saving up to RM48.

Here is the breakdown

• Celcom broadband RM68
• Streamyx broadband RM88
• Total RM156 vs RM108 (promo price)

The package comes with ADSL modem for fixline broadband but the mobile broadband don't have modem included. You can use a 3G phone to act as a modem (not all 3G phone has it).

Airasia free tickets

Airasia is providing 300,000 free tickets from KLIA, Johor Baharu, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu to local and international destination (except China). I have managed to book ticket to Jogyakarta for me and 2 friends. Each paid about RM186 for admin, tax and fuel surcharge. Not bad eh :P

Budget Compaq Presario notebook

Compaq released a notebook for budget concious consumer. I went through the specification and it ain't bad for RM2099 . I see the only exception is the RAM needs to be upgraded with at least 1GB. Also it doesn't comes with Windows OS. You can either use freeOS like Linux or pay extra RM300 for Microsoft Vista Home Basic. Oh yes... as usual limited units only :P
